  Shelties at Work
  Available
We have been sheltie enthusiasts for over 18 years and have loved every minute of it. Located in the Southern San Joaquin Valley in Ca, we enjoy exhibiting in conformation with our little furkids.  We take special care to keep our gene pool as free of disease as is possible and do the appropriate testing needed to ensure that it remains that way.  We are members of the Shetland Sheepdog Club Of Southern California with Roger being past President.  What a wonderful group of people and we value the friendships and support from one and all.  Pam is now the Vice President of the Club and thrilled to be able to help shape the future of the club.
Our shelties are raised in the house and are our pampered pets.   We keep our numbers very low and take special care to make sure that they are well socialized  and exposed to different things and circumstances.  Dogs and people love it when the grandkids to come visit. I think it might be because our granddaughter sneaks treats to the dogs when I am not looking.      I hope you enjoy meeting our kids as you view our site.
Special thanks to Clan Duncan for sharing their wonderful web art with us.

Ch McGraw has embarked on a Specials career with his breeder/co-owner Cendy McVoy.  They picked up his first 2 BOB's and a Group 4 first week-end out at the Orange Empire Shows Jan 24/25.  Followed by back to back BOB the next two week-ends out.

Reba picked up RWB at the Ventura Shows, and Gracie picked up RWB at the Orange Empire Shows.

February was an exciting month for us.  Our little Patty was Best In Sweepstakes both days at the Santiago Shetland Sheepdog Show

Sunday at the Santiago Specialty Patty was RWB under Breeder Judge Carl Skinner of Homewood Shelties.  What an honor to be given the nod from a Breeders of Multiple Best In Show Shelties.

The last week-end in Feb we picked up WD and next day RWD with a darling little Bi Black boy that Pam showed for Locklyn Guzman of Apple Acres.  That week-end was especially fun as Locklyn and Keisha and Pat came down to show with us and stayed at the house.  Boy did we have a great time.  Hope they come back down soon.

March found us relocating to a country home south of Bakersfield.  The move was a lot of work, but we are loving the country life and the dogs love having lots of room to run.

March 21st and 22nd at the Southern Cal Specialty our little Patty picked up Runner Up Best In Sweeps and Best In Sweeps.  Our club had the honor of having Tom and Nioma Coen judge conformation for us.  What a nice week-end it was and a welcome break from the moving and settling in.

Watch for McGraw at the National in Georgia with Cendy McVoy.

May 2009:  McGraw has picked up 6 more breed wins and 3 group placements.

Big Brag !!!!!  Our darling little Patty was awarded WB, BOW and BOB under Mrs. Jackie Stacey over Memorial Day week-end.  Oops, you are not supposed to beat your own special.  Mrs Stacey as well as other exhibitors just could not say enough about our pretty baby.

Boy am I behind on my brags.

Pasadena Kennel Club shows McGraw picked up 2 more Best Of Breeds and a Group 2 and a Group 1.  We are so proud of our boy.

McGraw has 18 Breed wins and several Group placements and is now home to take a break.

Ch McGraw' s look a like son "Nicholas" is following in Daddy's pawprints as at his second show he also picked up a major.  What a big boy he is.
